Hot off the press - The November Calendar is here!

Throughout this month's calendar we have highlighted supporting local farmers and businesses along with the different departments throughout your local Coos Head Food Co-Op. In light of COVID-19 please refer to for Coos Head Food Co-Op Guidelines for employees and shoppers.

- Tuesday, November 3rd is Election Day, Please remember to VOTE. If you need to know what the ballot drop boxes are please feel free to contact

- Senior Shop Day now every Tuesday & Thursday from 8 AM to 9 AM.

- Coos Head Food Co-Op will be open on Thanksgiving from 8-1:00 pm and CLOSED on November 27th, 2020.

- Farmstead Bread delivers fresh baked bread every Tuesday and Friday at 5:00 PM.

- Coos Head Food Co-Op is now offering curbside pickup Monday thru Friday excluding Wednesdays. All orders must be submitted between 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM and pick up is between 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM. If you would like to utilize our curbside pickup, please send all orders via email to

- Empire Bakery delivers freshly baked bread every Wednesday & Friday at 2:00 pm.

- Tuesday, November 11th is Veteran's Day your local Coos Head Food Co-Op is offering a 10% Discount and FREE coffee with a purchase of a Deli Made scone!

- Weekly Valley Flora Farm Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Pick Up, located in the front right section of the Co-Op.

- CSF Port Orford Sustainable Seafood Monthly Delivery the third Thursday of every month.

Coos Bay Public Library and Coos Head Food Co-Op would like to invite the community to join in on the virtual cooking segments "Community Cooking with the Co-Op." We introduce community members to cooking with ingredients that they aren't familiar with and encourage stepping outside of their comfort zones. Together, we are able to engage each other and our community via zoom, while unable to meet in person. Virtually we are able to all cook, laugh, learn and eat together.

Next Event: Thursday, November. 19th - Jamar aims to provide safe, easy, and healthy recipes to create at home. Join us virtually for this fun community event! For his November recipe, Jamar will be featuring Stuff Acorn Squash.

Community Collaboration:

Here at your local Coos Head Food Co-Op we have begun to collaborate with Bay Area Hospital becoming a collection location for mask and shield garments. All donations can be turned into the donation bin located by the cashier station in front of the store.
